Scooters for Hooters Newmarket

Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” This year I was one of those Canadians.  Early in December I was diagnosed with Breast cancer, and my treaatment journey began December 17th.  Throughout this journey I have recieved so much support from Family and Friends.  I am so grateful.

Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, there is still so much work to be done.

I have run in this race for the last 5 years; its a great and inspirational race; this year I am sure it will be even more meaningful for me.  I decided this year to lead a team; called Scooters for Hooters Newmarket.  By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, our team is helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of Canadians affected by breast cancer. We’re running in honour of the incredible people in our lives, and we need your support!

You can support in two ways; you can lace up and join us; walk or run on Oct 4th or you can support our Team's fundraising efforts.

Please contribute what you can to help us achieve our fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation will fund the best breast cancer research and the largest support system in the country for people affected by cancer.

Did you know that just $100 could fund two hours of life-saving research in a world class laboratory? Your contribution could lead to the next breakthrough!

Together, we can change the future of breast cancer.
Thanks in advance for your support!

Karen
