We run for Pat

After a courageous 2 year battle with cancer our beloved Pat Scalise ( Mom, Nana, sister, Zia, Daughter, Cousin, Friend) passed away surrounded by her family at home on July 27, 2021 at the age of 62.

She lived her life to entertain and enrich the lives of the kids around her (whether they were related or just stopping by for a visit). She was always planning her next family vacation, organizing all the fun things to do hour by hour (including well organized binders with maps and handwritten notes). Pat also had an uncanny ability to make instant connections with everyone she met, whether you knew her for an hour or 50 years it didn’t take long to understand the kind of person she was.

Her infectious personality, amazing laugh, nurturing spirit and unapologetic desire to wear her heart on her sleeve and “tell it like it is” all contributed to the enormous impact she had on so many lives. She will be greatly missed!
