Thank you for donating/joining our team in supporting our real-life superhero Vanesa Sajkcwicz-Gomez. At only 34 years old she was diagnosed with stage 4 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. The cancer had spread to her liver, lungs and two areas of her bones. Now 1 year later after diagnoses we are happy to report that her treatments have helped completely shrink the tumours in her liver, lung and bones. Although there is no cure for metastatic Breast cancer - it is treatable. Vanesa’s battle will be ongoing but with treatment and through her ongoing faith, positivity and determination Vanesa will continue to kick cancers ass!

Vanesa is so many things to so many people. At her core she is a mother to her children Mia and Thiago, but she also holds the title of wife, daughter sister, friend and now cancer warrior. Those who know her know what a genuine, kind, extremely thoughtful and inspiring person she is. She is the first to reach out a hand of support to those in need, without being asked.

We are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 2, 2022. We participate to show Vanesa the love, support, and encouragement she fills in our hearts regularly.
