Metastatic Breast Cancer - Calgary
Welcome to the Metastatic Breast Cancer Calgary team page!
We are people living wtih MBC, friends and family members who have come together to raise awareness of metastatic breast cancer, to raise the ever so needed funds to support MBC research, and, of course, to have some fun.
Why? Because Canadians are still dying of breast cancer that has metastasized. Because researchers still don't understand how cancer metastasizes or why some cancers don't respond to treatment or become resistant treatment. Because there is still more work to do.
This year's Run is virtual - what does this mean? We'lll all be staying closer to home, but together in spirit! We'll keep you posted on what activities the Calgary Run organizers have planned.

Team Tent Awards
Be recognized as one of the top 5 teams at your Run! The top 5 teams who meet the minimum fundraising amount of $10,000 by the deadline of Sept 22* will receive a Team Tent space. You can decorate the tent, hang out there on Run day and receive the VIP experience!
*Only funds reflected on the website by Sept 22, 2022 at 10 PM PST will be counted. For offline funds to count, bank stamped forms need to arrive at CCS by Sept 8.
