Every year, universities across Canada come together to host a Shoot for the Cure event in support of the fight against breast cancer through USports. This year, things are a little different, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have something planned! 

Through January 17th-30th, we ask that you donate to our Algoma Thunderbirds team page. All proceeds go towards the fight against Breast Cancer. To help us reach our targets, and have a little fun while doing it, our coaches and administration will have to face challenges as we reach our goals. These challenges will be posted on our socials, along with facts about Breast Cancer throughout January into the month of February.  

So please tell your friends, family, coworkers, teammates, etc. to donate today, because trust us, you’re going to want to see us get thrown into ice baths, pied in the face, and taped to walls! If we reach our highest target, we have some amazing volunteers ready to cut and donate their hair in support of Breast Cancer!
