USports - Shoot for the Cure: Western Mustangs Women's Basketball - Canadian Cancer Society

USports - Shoot for the Cure

Western Mustangs Women's Basketball

The Western Mustangs Women's Basketball team are participating in U SPORTS Shoot for the Cure on Wednesday January 31st | 6pm | Alumni Hall. Western students get into the game free with valid Western ONECard.

The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.

The campaign has proven an overwhelming success since it was launched in the fall of 2007, with over $1.75 million in donations to date by all 48 U SPORTS women’s basketball programs.

Please pledge us and help the Mustangs reach our fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.

Thanks for your support!
