I am participating in Scott Trapp Stick-It to Cancer Memorial Tournament to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
In 2012, the Stick-It To Cancer Ball Hockey Tournament was inaugurated, with 10 teams invited to help raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. After raising $5,000 in 2012, we surpassed that amount in each of the next seven years, for a total of just over $240,000 to date!
Our success as one of Canada’s largest independent Canadian Cancer Society fundraisers can be attributed to combined contributions from corporate sponsors and donors, the generosity of personal donations from friends and family members, as well as donations from the local community at large.
For more information on 2020's tournament and how to register a team, please visit our official website at www.stickittocancer.ca.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Thanks for your support!
