19th Annual Hike for Mike

Join us and become a cancer fighter!

We are working up a sweat for the fight against cancer at the 19th Annual Hike for Mike on Friday, June 3, 2016.

We are proud to be raising funds to support the fight against cancer. The money we raise will help the Canadian Cancer Society fund life-saving cancer research.

About Hike for Mike

The 1st – 15th Annual Hike for Mike was a 10 km walk from Hawk’s Cliff on the shores of Lake Erie to St. Joseph’s High School. The event was organized by the students of St. Joe’s to raise money for cancer research. In its first two years it operated under the name “Walk to the Hawk” but was renamed in 1998 to honour the memory of St. Joseph student Michael Hall, a victim of childhood cancer.

Mike demonstrated dedication and faith in everything he did. It is important for us to carry on Mike’s spirit and to help win the battle for others like him.
