In Memory of Jaclyn Van Esbroeck

On October 31st, our team (JacAttack) is taking part in Pembroke's Zombie Run to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.

My daughter-in-law Jaclyn Van Esbroeck recently lost her battle with breast cancer after a valiant fight, and someday because of her story maybe another family won't have to deal with the devastating loss of a loved and cherished family member to this terrible disease. With grace and dignity Jaclyn lived a nightmare that none of us can truly imagine, and it was important to her that something good come of it.  So, for that reason I am participating, along with my family and over 300 other participants in 9 cities across Ontario to raise money in Jaclyn's honour that will help the Canadian Cancer Society fight breast cancer.

1 in 9 Canadian women will get breast cancer in their lifetime; 67 women are still being diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada every day.

I'm late signing up and you may have already sponsored another participant, but if not PLEASE consider sonsoring me if you are able, every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.

Thank you for your support, and thank you to those who have already donated – it means so much
