It is with great sadness that the family of Francis Michael Dormody announces his passing at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, on Friday, August 16, 2019, at the age of 63 years. Michael passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sara Dormody, Jesse Dormody and wife Stacey, and Jack Koper, as well as grandchildren Erin and Jillian.  He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother Bernice Dormody and his sisters Bridget (Paul) Jones, Roxena (Keith) Postill and Joanne Lidster, and dearly missed by his nephews and nieces.  Michael was pre-deceased by his father James Dormody and his brother-in-law Edward Lidster. He will be sadly missed by his friend and former wife Colleen Ewing and by his close companion Linda Brady.

As Michael said not long before his passing, "If only love could cure cancer".
