Tour de Rock 2024: Shawnigan Lake School - Canadian Cancer Society

Tour de Rock 2024

Shawnigan Lake School

We are participating in Cops for Cancer for which local police officers and emergency services personnel participate in a two-week bike ride down Vancouver Island by a team of first responders, raising money for children and their families affected by pediatric cancer. Since 1998, Tour de Rock has raised more than $26 million, including more than $600,000 raised by Shawnigan Lake School over the last 25 years.

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.

Please make a donation on our behalf and help us reach our fundraising goal!

Every donation takes us one step further to pedal our way to end childhood cancer. Because one child with cancer is one child too many.

Thanks for your support!
