C!C!C! for the Canadian Cancer Society - Love is stronger than cancer
Love is stronger than cancer - We're back together again!
If you can join us on Facebook or YouTube live on November 26 please do, it's going to be an incredible time!
If you're able to this holiday season, please donate to help us reach our goal. Now more than ever the Canadian Cancer Society could use your support.
Choir! Choir! Choir! partners with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) for a virtual fireside sing-a-thon in support of the Canadian Cancer Society Holiday Campaign. Taking place live on Facebook and YouTube on Thursday, November 26 at 7:30pm EST, the event connects people from around the world to have fun, spread hope, and unite through song, all while reflecting on the Holiday Campaign’s theme "Love is Stronger than Cancer."
This very special digital event marks the second partnership between Choir! Choir! Choir! and CCS this year. In April, a one-hour sing-a-thon raised over $80,000 in support of the Daffodil Campaign, and we hope to raise more this time out!
Choir! Choir! Choir! creative directors Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman provide digital lyric sheets and guide participants through a set list of inspiring selections. From their own homes, families, self-isolators, and singers of all stripes will sing along with the duo as part of this special virtual singing event. Throughout the event, donations will be collected for CCS via Facebook and YouTube. Donations will also be collected leading up to and after the event, all of which will help Canadians impacted by cancer.
With nearly 1 in 2 Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, cancer affects us all. But this holiday season, the Canadian Cancer Society encourages everyone to come together to show friends, families, and community that a cancer diagnosis does not need to define who you are, and that love is stronger than cancer.
Funds raised through this virtual fireside sing-a-thon will support groundbreaking research to better detect, diagnose and treat Canadians with cancer and help ensure that people affected, including families and caregivers, get the support they need this holiday season.
Proceeds from my fundraiser will support Greatest need
