Meet Dave Roche
My name is Dave Roche and I am honored to be a co-chair for Pink in The Rink this year with my brother Scott. I am a Peterborough Petes, Minor Petes Alumnus and happy to partner with the Canadian Cancer Society along with the Petes to raise funds and awareness for women’s cancer research.
I have learned playing both junior and professional Hockey along with the many years of coaching minor hockey both Girls and Boys, is the importance of developing a strong sense of community. The Canadian Cancer Society carries and bolsters you during both, in times of joy and times of need. I also learned the importance of giving back to the community in which we live as I have been involved with many initiatives over the years with minor hockey and through work with Freedom 55 Financial, therefore I feel that this is a perfect opportunity for us along with the Petes to partner with the Canadian Cancer Society for this worthy cause. It’s an unfortunate reality that cancer affects many people in our community both directly and indirectly, so let’s do our part and support our community.
Please consider making a donation and help me reach our fundraising goal of $1,500 towards Pink in the Rink.
Thank you for your support!
Meet Scott Roche
My name is Scott Roche and I am excited and honored to be a co-chair with my brother David for Pink in The Rink this year. As an OHL Alumni, it has always been a privilege for me to be part of the community volunteering to enhance and strengthen the communities I have had the honor of playing in.
After hockey was over, I continued to volunteer in a coaching capacity and still do to this day. Currently, I am the head coach of the U18 AAA Petes. Last year in this role, our team had a small part in the Pink in The Rink event and it was truly a reflection of the strong, supportive and caring community that Peterborough is.
I am looking forward to this opportunity to continue to support such a great cause. The vision of the Canadian Cancer Society “Creating a world where no Canadian fears cancer” is one we should all stand behind and support.
Please consider making a donation and help me reach our fundraising goal of $2,500 towards Pink in The Rink
Thank You!
