Tribute to Dad from His Children
Dad, you lived your dreams. You started with so little and achieved so much. We try not to mourn you because we want to celebrate the life that you lived. You left us too early, but I am so thankful for the special time you and I had together in the last few years. I will miss our walks together. Dad, you taught us how to be generous and compassionate. You were stubborn and fierce, but you also taught us to forgive. You taught us how to love with an open heart. You always showed infinite love to us. You would always say, "Laakho maa ek chhe maari pori." It's actually, "Laakho maa ek chhe maara daddy." We are so proud to call you our father. No one can compare to you. Dad, we say goodbye, to this life you have shared with us. You leave behind a life full of beautiful memories and moments for loved ones across multiple countries, families and generations. You lived your life knowing you had to provide a better future for your family. You worked so hard and sacrificed so much. Dad, you succeeded. Today you have the wealth of your wife, children and grandchildren. You left us far too soon. We will miss you dearly. You will always remain in our hearts as the best dad ever. Your love will stay with us forever.

Dear our beloved Grandpa,
Even though all of the grandkids couldn't be at your side to say their final goodbyes, these words speak from all of our hearts. No amount of words can describe the type of person you are to us. You will always be remembered for your compassion, generosity, and affection, showing it through your endless support. Today, we appreciate the fond memories that we will cherish forever. You were there when we were born to help take care of us. You were there as we were growing up to help guide us. From the day we took our first steps to the day we left the nest you never left. From the day we took our first fall to the day we grew tall, you made us our best. We will always remember the times you would take us to the park and play UNO with us until dark. Thank you for the love, blessings, and lessons that you've gifted us along the way.
Love from your grandchildren.

Memories of Dad
I will take this special moment
To turn my thoughts to Dad
Thank him for the home he gave
For all the things we had.
We think about the fleeting years
Too quickly, gone for good
It seems like only yesterday
I'd go back if I could.
A time when Dad was always there,
No matter what the weather.
Always strong when things went wrong
He held our lives together.
He strived so hard from day to day
And never once complained.
With steady hands, he worked so hard
And kept the family name.
He taught us that hard work pays off,
You reap just what you sow.
He said that if you tend your crops,
Your field will overflow.
My life has been bountiful
He taught me how to give
In his firm and steadfast way
He taught me how to live.
Dad dwells among the angels now
He left us much too soon
He glides across a golden field
Above the harvest moon.
I see him in the summer rain,
He rides upon the wind
And when my path is beaten down
He picks me up again.

His Journey's Just Begun
By Ellen Brenneman
Don't think of him as gone away,
his journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
by Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
