I lost a very close member of my life when I was a younger child.

I was 13 and had been fighting with my dad to keep battling the cancer. The fight had gone on since I was 6, so 7 years my father had been sick. He was my best friend and the only person that I could tell everything and trust with everything that I told him. I lost him over a month before Christmas when I was 13 years old. I am now 16 and wishing that he was still here to support me. I now live with my mom and wish that I could spend time with and live with my father. I am trying to make a change as a teenager to stop this from happening to someone else my age, or anyone in the world.
