My sister and family

My older sister has been diagnosed with malignant melanoma. She has been seen by 2 general physicians and a surgeon. They want to do an evasive surgery to remove the closest lymph nodes because they are enlarged. I am keeping a positive outlook, for her sake. My family, however, is dark in thought and has accepted that she will die. I am finding it difficult to convince them there are many survivors, living longer lives with treatment. Thanks to your stories I think I have turned them around the corner to fight and not to give up. Fight the fight.
