I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at its earliest stage, in 2008. I had a drastic prostatectomy in November of 2008. Follow up results show negative. Please, DON'T FORGET YOUR CHECK UPS.

My name is Emmanuel Thompson, and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the middle of August of 2008. I opted for the surgery and I am now a survivor; to cut a long story short. I am so grateful to God, the medical team, family and friends.
To my surprise, I wasn't afraid of the news, because I believed that whatever it was, God was going to see me through whether by removing it or by using the medical team
My coming out is to encourage others diagnosed with cancer that they need to stand strong and not be afraid because there are a lot of us who have gone through it and ARE CHEARING THEM ON TO FIGHT TO THE END...PRESS ON, FRIENDS FOR YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING ALONE, WE'RE ALL FIGHTING WITH YOU.
