• Vancouver Coastal Health has a transgender health information program that provides information to anyone in BC with the transgender health question.

• Canadian Processional Association for Transgender Health (CPATH)
• The Center of Excellence for Transgender Health has information for healthcare providers, researchers, community organizers and transgendered people on routine care, HIV prevention, cultural competency, mental health and policy regarding trans health.
• World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), in particular, “Standards of Care”
• TransPulse is a community-based research project investigating the impact of social exclusion and discrimination on the health of trans people in Ontario. The project aims to provide the information necessary to change policies and practices to improve the health of trans communities.
• The National LGBT Health Education Center (formerly the Fenway Health Institute) provides educational programs, resources and consultation to healthcare organizations with the goal of optimizing quality, cost-effective healthcare for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. • Kaiser Permanente National Diversity Council and Kaiser Permanente National Diversity Department: A Provider’s Handbook on Culturally Competent Care: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Population, 2004. 
• Journal of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association is the only multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed medical journal dedicated to LGBTQ health.
• The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Health Access Project provides training, technical assistance and materials to agencies to help service providers learn more about the healthcare needs of LGBTQ populations and to create a welcoming environment for staff and clients. • The Are You an ALLY? Campaign uses posters, videos, e-learning, training sessions, and printed materials to help health-care service providers identify and interrupt discrimination or harassment when it occurs.

• Rainbow Health Ontario’s Guidelines and Protocols for Comprehensive Primary Health Care for Trans Clients includes protocols for treatment with hormone therapy for both male-to-female and female-to-male transsexuals, as well as guidelines for providing resources, support and advocacy for trans clients.
• OCASI Positive Spaces Initiative Starter Kit : These training/educational materials are developed by the Positive Spaces Initiative (PSI), developed by OCASI to share resources and increase organizational capacity across the sector to more effectively serve LGBTQ newcomers.
