- Canadian Processional Association for Transgender
Health (CPATH)
- The Center of Excellence for Transgender
Health has information for healthcare providers, researchers, community
organizers and transgendered people on routine care, HIV prevention, cultural
competency, mental health and policy regarding trans health.
- World Professional Association for Transgender
Health (WPATH), in particular, “Standards of Care”
- TransPulse is a community-based
research project investigating the impact of social exclusion and
discrimination on the health of trans people in Ontario. The project aims to
provide the information necessary to change policies and practices to improve
the health of trans communities.
- The National LGBT Health Education
Center (formerly the Fenway Health Institute) provides educational
programs, resources and consultation to healthcare organizations with the goal
of optimizing quality, cost-effective healthcare for lesbian, gay, bisexual and
