Hi Everyone,

This cause is extremely important to me as a breast cancer survivor.   All of the funds raised by myself and my team go directly to Metastatic Research.  Only 1 team per run site can designate their funds to to this research. Stage 4, metastatic, terminal cancer is when the cancer has spread to other parts of your body.   Metastatic people need more treatment options.   My friend who recently passed described it as a ladder.   The first rung has more options, you burn through options and move to the 2nd rung where there are a few options and once those have been exhausted you move to the next rung where there are the hail mary options (extremely limited).    Please help my team and I make the ladder longer.   Thank you.

Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words "you have breast cancer." While these Canadians are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis, but there is still so much work to be done.
